Executive Coaching

London, UK

Executive coaching is a professional relationship between a trained coach and a client (who may be an individual or a group) with the goal to enhance the client’s leadership or management performance and development. Through a process of inquiry, dialogue, and other tools, the coach serves as a thought partner to help the client examine and develop his or her decision-making, experiment with new ways of thinking and commit to action steps that help achieve the client’s goals. Executive coaching is a powerful, focused and effective development tool for senior leaders and people that want to become senior leaders.  Whether you are focused on attaining an individual career goal, success with a team project or you are going through a time of transition or return to work after a break, the executive coaching is designed to support you in achieving your ambitions and stabilise your professional and personal well-being.

It consists of the practitioner meeting regularly with another professional, not necessarily more senior, but with training in the skills of supervision, to discuss casework and other professional issues in a structured way. The purpose is to assist the practitioner to learn from his or her experience and progress in expertise, as well as to ensure good service to the client or patient. Learning shall be applied to planning work as well as to diagnostic work and therapeutic work.

Individual Therapy

London, UK

Individual therapy is a joint process between a therapist and a person in therapy. Common goals of therapy can be to inspire change or improve quality of life. Therapy can help people overcome obstacles to their well-being. It can increase positive feelings and help to reach goals. Some people even go to ongoing therapy for self-growth and development.

There is some overlap between individual counselling and individual psychotherapy. Counselling is usually a briefer treatment within which specific behavioural problems or symptoms are addressed. Psychotherapy tends to focus on understanding at depth complex or deep-rooted concerns where developing awareness or insight into emotional problems and difficulties can benefit from a longer time frame.

Couples Therapy

Couples counselling and therapy is a form of psychological intervention used to treat relationship distress for both individuals and couples. The purpose is to restore a better level of functioning in the relationship. The reasons for distress can include poor communication skills, incompatibility, or a broad spectrum of psychological distress. The focus is to identify the presence of dissatisfaction and distress in the relationship and to devise and implement a treatment plan with objectives designed to improve or alleviate the presenting symptoms and restore the relationship to a better and healthier level of functioning. Couples counselling and therapy can also assist individuals who have difficulties with intimacy, sexuality, gender identity and communication struggles with others.

Child and Adolescent

London, UK

Child and adolescent psychotherapy is a core profession with rigorously regulated standards and training, approved by the Department of Health. Psychotherapists have to work in collaboration with schools and public services to assess and treat infants, children and young people and work with them, their parents, families and the networks surrounding them. The Psychotherapist may see children and young people individually or with other family members. The therapeutic relationship is developed through talking or play, depending on age. The child has an opportunity to work towards a better understanding of themselves, emotions, identity, their relationships and their established patterns of behaviour.  The Psychotherapist also applies their framework of thinking to work with parents, families and carers, encouraging a deeper understanding of the child’s presentation and perspective.
